WHAT IS THE LEVEL E CERTIFICATION?
Level E is the ASTM E1996-09 standard of the United States military. It is not a commercial certification, it was designed for buildings that cannot fail under any circumstances: naval hospitals, air force bases, command facilities. The only certification in the world that tests all 4 hurricane forces simultaneously. We are the only company in Mexico with this certification.
Miami-Dade tests projectiles at 51 ft/s. Level E launches them at 80 ft/s — 57% more demanding. The difference is a metal object hitting the fabric at 86 km/h.
Wind, water, projectiles, and barometric pressure, tested simultaneously, as they occur in a real hurricane. Other certifications test each force separately.

The international reference standard for hurricane zones. Tested at a wind pressure design load of 120 psf. All our systems comply with this standard. Required reference for international insurers and architects.
Clemson University measured the resistance of the HS-1500 fabric using the industry-standard Mullen Burst test. Result: the testing machine reached its limit before the fabric did. For reference: a Category 5 hurricane exerts 1,200 psi. Our fabric exceeds that threshold without failing.
A wood missile was fired from a cannon at 86 km/h against the system. The system held. The wood structure it was anchored to failed first. The system was stronger than what was holding it.
